The name of Agiofarango, is due to the hermits who lived and still live in the many caves surrounding the gorge. At the exit of the gorge, there is a spectacular beach with small pebbles and crystal clear waters, which are usually very calm. The landscape compensates the effort to get there and the beach is ideal for relaxation and meditation.
To get there, you have to cross the gorge with easy hike of about 30 – 50 minutes. We definitely recommend it, as the path between the vertical walls of the gorge is breathtaking.
